Published fabrication ranges, from approved design and confirmed dimensions:
Smaller pieces: 3–6 weeks
Waterline borders, single medallions and backsplashes.
Larger pieces: 6–16 weeks
Pool floors, all-tile interiors and large murals.
These are planning ranges, not a guaranteed delivery date. Your quotation confirms the lead time for the specified design and current studio schedule. Design development, shipping and installation are additional.
1. Design & approval
Fabrication time starts after the design is approved and finished dimensions are confirmed—not at first contact.
Allow time to review the drawing, colors and layout with your designer, architect or pool builder. The number of revisions and construction decisions affect this phase.
Before fabrication starts
Confirm the final surface dimensions, approved drawing, color direction and project scope.
For a new pool or remodel, coordinate measurements with your builder. If the shell, steps or mosaic area may change, tell the studio before production begins.
2. Studio fabrication
The mosaic is made in our own studio to the approved layout. Size, fine detail, color transitions and the current production schedule affect the time required.
Finished work is prepared paper-faced in numbered sections with a keyed layout for your tile setter. Your quotation states the lead time for the actual design.
3. Shipping & installation
Shipping follows fabrication. The published transit allowance is 7–10 days; confirm the delivery plan for your destination with the studio.
Installation is handled by your tile setter or project team on a separate schedule. Site readiness and the builder’s construction sequence must be coordinated outside the fabrication window.
A fabrication completion date is not the date the pool will be ready to fill.
Material availability
Unusual colors or special material requirements may affect the schedule. We review availability for the approved palette before confirming a project-specific lead time.

Tell us your target installation date, project location and construction milestones before design work begins.
We review feasibility with your team and identify what needs to be approved and when. Do not book installation around a general range without confirming the project-specific production and delivery schedule.
Common questions
How long does a custom pool mosaic take?
Smaller pieces, such as a waterline border, a single medallion or a backsplash, take 3–6 weeks from design approval. Larger pieces, such as a full pool floor, an all-tile pool or a large mural, take 6–16 weeks. Size and fine detail set the schedule.
When does the lead time start?
At design approval, once the finished dimensions are locked. Time spent on the design before that is additional.
Does the lead time include shipping and setting?
No. The published shipping allowance is 7–10 days after fabrication; confirm transit for your destination. Installation is handled by your tile setter on a separate schedule.
Can you meet a fixed deadline?
Share the deadline before design work begins. We review the design, material availability and studio schedule before confirming feasibility. A general fabrication range is not a deadline commitment.
Why is a small medallion faster than a pool floor?
A smaller piece usually requires less fabrication, but fine detail can add time. The quotation reflects the size and design together rather than promising the shortest published turnaround.
