Question 1

How much does a custom pool mosaic cost?

Accepted Answer

Custom pool mosaics vary based on size, complexity, and materials. A waterline border runs $150–$400 per linear foot. Pool floor medallions run $3,000–$6,000 for 30 inches to 5 feet, depending on diameter and detail; larger medallions are quoted individually. A full all-tile pool floor runs $35,000–$120,000+. Question 2

What is the commission process?

Accepted Answer

We begin with a conversation — your space, your vision, your timeline. From there we develop a design concept, present material selections, and once approved, move into fabrication. You receive progress photos and video throughout. Installation is coordinated directly with your contractor or pool builder.

Question 3

How long does it take to create a custom mosaic?

Accepted Answer

Smaller pieces — a waterline border, a single medallion, a backsplash — take 3–6 weeks from design approval. Larger pieces — a full pool floor, an all-tile pool, a large mural — take 6–16 weeks. Size and the amount of fine detail set the schedule, and shipping is additional. We send progress photos throughout fabrication.

Question 4

What materials do you use for pool mosaics?

Accepted Answer

We work primarily with smalti glass — hand-poured with 1,000+ colors. We also use vitreous glass, tumbled marble, and gold-leaf glass. All materials are pool-grade and UV-resistant.

Question 5

Do you work with pool builders and architects?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we regularly collaborate with luxury pool builders, contractors, interior designers, and architects throughout Southern California. We can work from your design brief or provide our own concepts.

Question 6

Do you ship nationwide?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we ship across North America, crated for safe transport. Finished work is mounted paper-faced, never mesh, and arrives in numbered sections keyed to a setting drawing, ready for your tile setter.

Question 7

What areas of Southern California do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Orange County (Newport Beach, Laguna Beach), San Diego (La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe), and Palm Springs (Coachella Valley, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert).

Question 8

How do I begin a commission?

Accepted Answer

Send a note with photos or plans of your space, dimensions, and what you have in mind. Most of our work happens over email — for projects in Southern California, we can come out to review the site in person.
